After sometime in operation, we faced a number of challenges.
We had always been called on to attend to emergencies in the community and our only means of transport was our Motorcycle that couldn’t really help in some situations.
We faced a challenge transporting pregnant mothers who are almost due and couldn’t sit properly on the motorcycles.
Unconscious patients whom we had referred for further management to other Health Facilities could not easily get timely transport.
The impassable poor roads have made it hard to reach out to some areas where we wanted to help especially the needy elders.
It was for such cases that the Van was bought by The Living Proof Institute , to help ease the transport difficulties in our operations here at The Living Proof Community Health Centre of Butebi.
